Hello…

My name is Dr Amy Wilson

I am a Consultant Community Paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience within the NHS. I specialise in child development, neurodiversity and epilepsy.

Through my NHS work I know that there can be lots of barriers to being referred for a neurodevelopmental assessment and waiting times can be long.

I have set up this service to be easy for families to access, flexible around young people’s needs and to be able to give families the time they need during an assessment.

I run a separate service for Non Epileptic Attack Disorder (neadsupport.org.uk) and I am also part of the Chirpy Collective. Chirpy is a nutritional supplement brand for children and teens, and I help create wellbeing content for their website and social channels. We share similar values around making support clear, kind and accessible for families. My clinical ASD and ADHD assessment work and with NEAD Support is completely independent of Chirpy. I don’t recommend or prescribe Chirpy products, and any resources I use with young people are always chosen because they are right for that individual child.
